Fundraising Manager Jobs in Devon
About Pancreatic Cancer Action:
Pancreatic Cancer Action (PCA) was founded in 2010 by a rare survivor of the disease. We are a small, creative and passionate team committed to improving early diagnosis and saving lives. In August 2020, Pancreatic Cancer Action merged with Pancreatic Cancer Scotland making our team stronger than ever.
Pancreatic cancer has only a 7% survival rate and this figure has not improved significantly for over 50 years. Despite it being the 5th biggest cancer killer in the UK, pancreatic cancer receives only 3% of overall research funding.
With a strong focus on early diagnosis, it is Pancreatic Cancer Action’s aim to improve survival rates through raising awareness, medical education, improved patient information and by funding research specifically into the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Simply put, we want more people diagnosed in time for surgery, currently the only potential for a cure.

Contract: Permanent, full-time hours, although compressed or annualised hours will be considered.
Arts Emergency, a mentoring charity and support network aiming to address the inequalities in the creative and cultural sectors, is looking for an experienced and motivated fundraiser to provide leadership and management for fundraising activities.
Since 2013, Arts Emergency has been providing 16-25 year olds in London, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and beyond with a trained mentor working in their field of interest. Mentors help Young Talent set goals, explore their passions and make decisions about higher education, training and careers. The network is made up of thousands of cultural professionals who’ve all offered to share crucial gateways into hard to crack industries like TV, publishing and architecture with young people.
This position will be responsible for raising the necessary income to ensure Arts Emergency’s high-quality, person focused, asset-based services for young people are sustainably funded and can
scale. This is a new role that reports to the Director of Fundraising & Marketing, overseeing a diverse income portfolio including individual giving, major donors, trusts and foundations, corporate donations, commercial income and community fundraising. Finally, you will be experienced in developing fundraising strategies through to implementation and evaluation, with a creative and proactive approach to developing and deepening relationships with stakeholders.
This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing charity which is poised to expand their award-winning work nationally, aiming to help to 3,000 young people by 2026, as well as support its cementing of its position as a leading and trusted service provider and support network for aspiring artists and thinkers.

The Orchard Project is recruiting a Head of Fundraising to develop and implement their income strategy as they enter an exciting period of growth and continue their mission to unite, empower and educate by bringing orchards into the heart of urban communities.
Closing date: 9 a.m. Monday 13th May
Who we are.
The Orchard Project brings orchards into the heart of urban communities, along with the many benefits they provide: environmental, physical, mental, social, and educational. They are the only national charity dedicated to the creation, restoration and celebration of community orchards.
For many hundreds of years, orchards were a key part of communities across the UK. But sadly, due to urban development, many of these green spaces, which are hubs of biodiversity, have disappeared. The Orchard Project’s mission is to reverse this decline and ensure everyone in cities across the UK is within easy reach of a thriving community orchard.
They also provide accredited horticultural courses and training with a view to increasing employment and representation amongst marginalised communities and host events and activities centred around orchards to improve community cohesion.
The fruit produced by orchards is used by local communities and shared throughout cities by teaming up with foodbank charities and advocating nationwide for the benefits of community orchards.
The Orchard Project is a national charity working across the country with bases in London, Manchester, Bristol, Swansea, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
